Wildwood is Looking Forward to Spring
March 2007
Hope everyone is rested
from our February Break and managed to escape any bad
germs that were flying all around. As we look foward
to spring, we are still seeking volunteers to help
with all our great programs here at Wildwood. Don't
be shy to share your talent or desire! We all want to
thank Pam Schuckman, Beth Pickett and their Cultural
Arts Committee for all the wonderful programs they
have brought to school for our children to see. This
is a large undertaking and they need more help for
next year. We also need people to help with the new
Wildwood Website for Volunteers, and the Teacher
Appreciation Luncheon. SO STEP RIGHT UP and come have
fun with us as we watch our children grow together.
It's a busy month of testing so have your children get plenty of sleep and eat well. Check with your homeroom moms, your teacher may be asking for healthy snacks during testing days.
March 16 is yet another POPCORN FIRDAY, so Pop on over and help Kathleen Holmberg or just say hi to your child.
With spring around the conrner more children are back walking, scootering, running and biking. Remind them of HELPING HANDS.

Wildwood is Looking for Volunteers
February 2007
While we all are
catching our breath and looking ahead into a new
month and the still "new" year, the Home and School
Association is already planning for the next school
year! We are always looking for volunteers to chair
and co-chair one of the many committees that make
Wildwood such a great place for our children. Please
let either Allison Decker or Dawn Smith know if you
would be interested in chairing a committee.
A huge thank you to Andrea Kuchinski and her dedicated group of volunteers that help in the library every week. They put all those great books are kids bring home back on the shelves so that someone else can enjoy them. If your child has ever needed assistance in finding a book when Mrs. Muka or Mrs Nicola were busy, you can be sure a library volunteer helped them to find it!
As we write this note, winter has not yet decided if it is actually coming to New Jersey this year but it always manages to arrive even if the Groundhog ways it isn't so.
The children enjoyed a Friday popcorn treat in January and on February 16 there will be another popcorn Friday. If you would like to help, please contact Kathleen Holmberg.
Please keep cutting those box tops! Now is the time to bring them into school.
Happy February!

Happy New Year to All!
January 2007
Happy New Year to all!
We hope everyone had a relaxing and joyous holiday!
We especially hope that Elena Goldthwaite and Melissa
Muilenburg were able to rest after all their hard
work planning the Chevys/Barnes and Noble Night and
the much loved Holiday Shopping Spree. We know you're
all enjoying your gifts and the children loved giving
them In addition, thank you to all the volunteers who
gave their time to hellp during the already crazy,
busy holiday season.
As the New Year begins our families are still humming those songs performed by our talented children at the Holiday Concert. We can't forget the artistic talent of Beth Grebe and her group of assistants who have decorated the bulletin boards in the front entrance. Each one has looked great. Thank you!
We're extremely excited to now take off the "to-do-list" the early morning snow day calls. Thanks for Mr. Reid and the Administration we can now expect the early snow day calls to be automated. Don't hang up on that voice that will be calling to let yhou know to sleep in It should reach your home between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. Thanks to all who made this possible.
