Wildwood is Looking Forward to Spring
March 2007 Filed in: From the
Chairs
Hope everyone is rested
from our February Break and managed to escape any bad
germs that were flying all around. As we look foward
to spring, we are still seeking volunteers to help
with all our great programs here at Wildwood. Don't
be shy to share your talent or desire! We all want to
thank Pam Schuckman, Beth Pickett and their Cultural
Arts Committee for all the wonderful programs they
have brought to school for our children to see. This
is a large undertaking and they need more help for
next year. We also need people to help with the new
Wildwood Website for Volunteers, and the Teacher
Appreciation Luncheon. SO STEP RIGHT UP and come have
fun with us as we watch our children grow together.
It's a busy month of testing so have your children get plenty of sleep and eat well. Check with your homeroom moms, your teacher may be asking for healthy snacks during testing days.
March 16 is yet another POPCORN FIRDAY, so Pop on over and help Kathleen Holmberg or just say hi to your child.
With spring around the conrner more children are back walking, scootering, running and biking. Remind them of HELPING HANDS.

As I write this letter,
we have just finished a week of bone-chiling
temperatures, and another week of the same is
forecast for next week. I suppose that means that
many of us are already looking forward to spring,
which indeed arrives in the month of March. It also
means that we are more than halfway through our
school year, a sobering thought. There is much to be
accomplished yet, and most families recognize that
the spring rivals the fall in terms of level of
activity.
The H&SA is committed to keeping you informed about the happenings and news in the schools and the community. The primary vehicle we use to accomplish this is The Bulletin, and I encourage you to read it carefully. I would like to ask you to pay special attention to Dr. Kazmark's message this month. He is requesting tha tou complete a brief community communications survey. Please take a moment to ehlp us determine the most effective way to keep you "in the know!"
Our Nominating Committee, headed by Geri Lombardi, has been working hard to prepare a slate of candidates for the H&SA board for the 2007 - 2008 school year. We will publish that slate in the April issue of The Bulletin. If you are interested in learning about any positoins that are still open, please contact Geri.
